Dream River
This morning I am going to make a very strange observation.
I have over many years had correspondence with many people around the world from all walks of life and also financial position.
What I discovered yesterday made me smile. A lady in America that I have helped over the years who lives in a mobile home has had more than her share of trouble, but she always kept herself positive. She has been as low as anyone could possibly get, but she has never given up. Her life has been to make ends meet and how ever hard she tried she could never quite get going, she knew every single thing about thrift ever written or handed down.
Her mindset would never allow her to rise above what she thought was her lot in life.
Now here is the amusing part, because of the situation in America and also other parts of the world I have suggested to her that she write a book on saving money and how to cope with an economic downturn.
What people are facing now is how she has lived her life, what better time for her to finally shine and taste the joy of a bit of siuccess.
This economic downturn could actually be the catalyst for her to suddenly believe in herself, finally she feels at least equal with many people that will now hang on to her every word. It is actually making me smile as I write this.
That tiny little belief in herself will allow the greatness in her to rise to the surface. This may be the smallest success out of this economic downturn, but to me it will be the most significant.
